Poly-doctor Petroleum Technology Company Ltd. (POLYTEC), Beijing, an independent comprehensive petroleum technology provider in oil and gas field exploration and development, was founded in 1998. POLYTEC provides oil and gas technical consultation and assessment services for domestic and oversea clients in oil and gas field exploration, development assessment and design, residual hydrocarbon location and formation stimulation. At present, POLYTEC has eight sectors with 120 staff: Geosciences Sector; Geophysics Sector; Drilling Engineering Sector; Reservoir Engineering Sector; Oil and Gas Production Engineering Sector; Developing Engineering Sector; Oilfield Chemical Engineering Sector and Research Center for Oversea Oil and Gas Fields. In recent years, POLYTEC participated in several antecedent assessment and design programs of China’s giant gas fields. In 2006, POLYTEC acted as technical consultant and assessed reserves for CITIC when CITIC purchased KBM Oilfield in Kazakhstan by $1.9 billion. POLYTEC is managed on informationization and standardization attested by ISO9000, which enables POLYTEC to be an influential enterprise commended times by government for her great contributions to local economic development. Ownership of two drilling rigs equipped with PDC drilling bits and with qualification of security production guarantee; being able to offer services of Coal Bed Methane drilling, drilling and workover in medium and shallow reservoir; optimizing and manufacturing drilling mud;

Services of assessment on integrated exploration and basin resources; treatment and interpretation of geophysics exploration data and etc;

Multi-disciplinary integration of geophysics exploration, development geology, production performance analysis, reservoir engineering and reservoir numerical simulation to conduct reserve evaluation, antecedent development and risk assessment, fine reservoir characterization and formation modeling; offering reference for decision makers to undertake commercial development of oil and gas fields;

Experienced in studies of formation petro-physical properties and flowing characteristics, determination of recoverable reserves, evaluation on deliverability, scenario design and economic assessment;

Covering microbiological stimulation, sludge treatment of microbe stimulated wells, water shutoff and entry profile adjustment techniques, channel flow blocking techniques, sand control research and application, services of fouling prevention and cleanout;
